Vascular Ultrasound

Vascular ultrasound requires a very experienced sonographer to get the right diagnosis.

At Coastal Radiology we have specialist sonographers that will help you to rule out a Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), Carotid stenosis that causes a stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) and incompetent veins or blocked upper / lower limb arteries.

DVT's are done on the same day and results are phoned to your General Practitioner right away. Urgent reports are available within 15mins. 

Typical scan time: 30mins - 60mins.
